I have a life-long interest in exploring the mind-body connection – as a teacher, visual artist, mother, sea-swimmer and gardener.
When I experienced myself how powerful and effective the movements of the Feldenkrais Method are for the prevention and treatment of pain, I decided to train in the Feldenkrais Method to be a Feldenkrais Practitioner/teacher.
I am a European (GCFP) Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner (teacher), and graduated from the 4-year international training in the Feldenkrais Method in Lewes/Sussex UK in 2012. I trained to be a Child Space Practitioner with Chava Shelhav.
I have been teaching weekly Group Classes and Workshops in the Theatre Department in University College Cork and other venues and from early 2020 on-line via zoom.
I am a member of the Feldenkrais Guild UK and Feldenkrais Ireland.
My aim is to give you an experience of what natural, pain-free, functional movement feels like as you gain knowledge and skills to moving well.
My students have a wide range of interests and include Tango dancers, violin teachers, singers, walkers, swimmers…and anybody who wants to improve how they move !
